Mayors' Veterans Appreciation Day
This event was held nine years from 2011 to 2019. COVID-19 shut us down for several years and will be restarted again in 2026. In September 2026 it will be expanded to include our First Responders and renamed Hoosier Heroes Appreciation Day (HHAD) at White River State Park in Downtown Indy.
VSC & MACV would like to thank all the Veterans and their Family members that came to our 9th Annual Mayors' Veterans Appreciation Day event on the 20th of July 2019. Despite of temperatures in the mid 90's we welcomed over 1,100 people and made it a great success. Our 10th Annual Mayors' event scheduled for 2020 has been rescheduled because of the COVID-19 and other reasons until 2025.
The Mayors' Event was suspended from 2020 to 2022 because of COVID-19
